According to the survey, the real estate industry experienced increased optimism in the first half of 2022, leading to the introduction of several major projects. In the beginning, this was helped along by the booming secondary market.

Although the majority of projects have been sold with construction milestone-linked payment plans, incentivizing developers to complete projects on or ahead of schedule, the report warned that rising construction costs and supply chain issues represent increasing risks for developers and will likely result in delays for projects at pre/early stages of construction.

The number of available apartments rose dramatically from the first quarter of 2022 (when there were 6,000) to the second quarter (when there were 7,000). In addition, the number of newly finished villas doubled to 520. But during the preceding three months, no additional significant office space handovers occurred.
