Benue hotel workers charged for stealing customers money and valuables

 

A hotel in Benue hired some employees that steal from guests and now the thief and the hotel are in the news. They are  3 in number, Charles Fegan, 40, Tersoo Ayen, 32, and Bemdoo Igbahemba, 29 all appeared before the judge and are charged with criminal conspiracy, mischief, and theft. According to the News from Benue state, the defendants were accused of stealing cash and other valuables from guests who lodge at Trust Resort Hotel. The hotel is located at No 3 Lucy Aluor street, New GRA Makurdi.

 

“That while out of the reception, he discovered that the driver’s side back door glasses of his car was broken and the sum of N900,000 stolen from the car,” the prosecutor said.

He added that during the police investigation, Charles Fegha, Tersoo Ayen, and Bemdoo Igbahemba, all staff of Trust Resort Hotel were arrested for allegedly committing the crime.

The case is still in court and the defendants were bailed out for N100,000.
