LeBron James and Michelle Obama partner to encourage black voters

LeBron James’ initiative, ‘More Than A Vote’, and former first lady’s initiative, “When We All Vote” have partnered to host the ‘When We All Vote Together Early Vote Weeks of Action.’

The new initiative is set to begin from October 18 and will run through October 31. Its purpose is to build awareness, momentum, and to get more Blacks interested in voting early. The Michelle Obama and LeBron James teams will supply information, food, music, transportation, voter protection support, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to support the movement across the United States.

The former first lady will also launch the #VotingSquad Challenge, together with When We All Vote co-chairs to create more awareness among Americans and get more people to vote early and safely together.

“Millions of Americans have already cast their ballots and with only 21 days until Election Day, making your plan to vote early is critical. It’s now up to us to do everything in our power to get our friends and family ready to vote early and safely together,” Michelle Obama, When We All Vote Co-Chair, in a statement. “We can’t leave anyone behind. I’m proud of the work When We All Vote will do with More Than A Vote and our partners to help provide on-the-ground support for Americans who will cast their ballots early.”
