Swoot Stocks Capitalization Increases by N50.89 billion

 The Swoot is a combination market capitalization of stocks worth over one trillion on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

The joint market capitalization of stocks worth over a trillion (SWOOT) appreciated from 0.28% to close at N1 8.18 trillion from N18.13 trillion the previous week, showing a gain of N50.89 billion.

MTN PLC is ranked the third-highest in market value on the Nigerian exchange limited. The organization shared its price at the end of the trading week from N199.50 to N203.5 per share. The increase in their share price took its market capitalization to N14.4 trillion.

The company share price at the end of the trading week increased to 12% to close at N203.5 per share, this made their market capitalization increase to N14.4 trillion.

Other company's share prices didn't change. Companies like;

Nestle Nigeria PLC's share price didn't change, but the company's Market capitalization is N1.14 trillion Nestle Nigeria PLC is one of the companies under the NGX consumer good index worth over a trillion.

The 2021 financial result showed that the fiscal year result for  2021 shows a profit of 40billion, which shows a marginal 2% from the previous year as revenue grew by 23%. Their share was at N50. 51 and the company is set to pay N25.50 per share.

BUA Cement Plc to close at N70.75trillion while their market capitalization is N2.40, at the end of the trading week. The company’s financial report showed revenue of N70.43 billion and shows a growth of 33.15% from N52.89 billion in 2020. Their net income increased to N7.06 billion and shows a 37.60% increase from N18.78 billion recorded in 2020, to N25.84 billion in the current period.

Dangote Cement PLC price didn't change as well, they close at  # 273.50 at the end of the market week, while their capitalization is #4.66 trillion. Dangote cement plc is presently the second most profitable company while MTN is ranked the third highest in the market value.

The combined market capitalization of stocks worth over 1 trillion, from # 18.13 trillion the previous week after it appreciated by 0.28% which show the profit of # 50.89 billion
