Stock Exchange Trading Hours.

 

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has regular trading hours from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. local time, unless there's an early close.

The Nasdaq is an electronic trading marketplace for stock/securities trading. It has a Pre-market trading time from 4 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. local time, and after-hours trading time from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The regular trading hours begin for the Nasdaq trading platform is from 9:30 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.3

Canada's stock exchange trading hours: Toronto Stock Exchange opens from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.

Asia Stock Exchange Trading Hours

The Shanghai Stock Exchange opens at 9:30 a.m. and closes at 3 p.m. local time, and it observes a lunch period from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Japan's Tokyo Stock Exchange opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 3 p.m. local time, and it also observes lunch period from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Stock Exchange in Hong Kong opens at 9:30 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m. local time, and it also observes lunch period from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.7

Europe Stock Market Trading Hours

The London Stock Exchange opens on business days at 8 a.m. and closes at 4:30 p.m. local time with no lunch period observed.

Euronext Paris market opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 5:30 p.m. local time with no lunch period.

The Swiss Exchange opens at 9:00 a.m. on business days. closes at 5:30 p.m. local time and with no lunchtime observed.
