Tesla’s market cap is insane at over $1 trillion and this is why

Tesla Stock keeps soaring higher and higher due to some crazy demand in stock shares by young people who have turned Tesla stocks into a meme stock. This group of buyers continues to bid the stock up and interest continues to grow in the carmaker’s tocks.

As result, we are seeing an insane number of valuations that do not make sense when compared to other automakers.

Market value.

Toyota: $257 billion

Volkswagen: $140 billion

Daimler: $108 billion

General Motors: $91 billion

Ford: $79 billion

BMW: $69 billion

Honda: $50 billion

Hyundai: $40 billion

Kia: $28 billion

Nissan: $22 billion

Tesla: $1.01 trillion

Telsa founder and CEO Elon Musk is clearly having fun with Telsa stock share prices as he continues to sell stock whenever Telsa stock reaches a new high.

'The Big Short' investor Michael Burry says Elon Musk may want to sell Tesla stock to cover his personal debts - and compares the current market to the Dutch tulip bubble.
