AMC theater to start accepting Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Doge Coin, Ether and Litecoin as method of payment

The Crypto world is getting big and we are seeing more companies accepting Cryptocurrency as payments than ever before. AMC movie theater is the newest big company to start accepting bitcoin and other cryptos as payments in place of cash.  AMC CEO Adam Aron confirmed that the company now accepts major cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ether (ETH), Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin) as payments at all AMC theaters and online.

 

When asked about Doge Coin addition, AMC theater Adam Aron said that DogeCoin will be next in line and that the company will start accepting Dogecoin very soon.

 

Shockingly, this new payment method already amounts to 14 percent of AMC’s total online transactions. Aron Adam said that crypto is now part of AMC’s traditional payment methods like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Paypal.

 

“Big newsflash! As promised, many new ways NOW to pay online at AMC.  We proudly now accept: drumroll, please… Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin. Also Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal. Incredibly, they already account for 14% of our total online transactions! Dogecoin next.” AMC Ceo Adam Aron shared on his Twitter page.



He also added that he hasn't sold and of his AMC stocks "62.5% of my annual pay is AMC stock, not cash" Aron shared on Twitter.


AMC stock is a meme stock, the company’s stock is now selling for $40.00 per share, a big jump from its January 2021 low of about $2.25 per share. AMC stock soar higher when Wallstreet bet people made it so popular and everyone bought it all the way up until it reached $72 per share before it was halted many times.
