You can now travel to China without worrying much about Covid 19 travel restrictions

China is hit with heavy covid cases, 3 years after the outbreak started in Wuhan. Today, China is still facing a huge setback from the Covid 19 lockdown as covid cases continue to skyrocket all over the country.

China has been on strict lockdown since the covid outbreak started, they have implemented movement restrictions with harsh punishments for offenders.

In the past couple of days, China has reduced the covid restrictions and that means that more people are now getting the viral disease because people are now moving freely.  There are more covid cases, and more deaths but China wants to move past the pandemic, as a result, they have continued to revise their positions on strict covid-19 policy.

China will now allow people to travel in and out of China as they try to be relaxed with the covid rule like the rest of the world. Especially America.

China will drop quarantine requirements for international arrivals from January 8, in a major step toward reopening its borders that have shut the country from the rest of the world for nearly three years.

Inbound travelers will only be required to show a negative Covid test result obtained within 48 hours before departure, China’s National Health Commission (NHC) said in an announcement late on Monday. Currently, they are subject to five days of hotel quarantine and three days of self-isolation at home.

Restrictions on airlines over the number of international flights and passenger capacity will also be removed, according to the announcement.” - CNN
