Real Estate Investing or Stock market, which one should you go for?

This year, we are going to visit and dissect real estate Investing and stock market investing. We will discuss and examine both areas of investing and see which one is better off. Investing is not just giving money out to businesses, investing means you are making money.

At Investingport, we use our own information that we publish daily to make better investment decisions, we are truly embedded in our own content and we try to use them to improve our net worth.

We are deeply into stock market investing, private equity, startups, bonds, and stock option. All these are paper money business, it means we do not have direct control on how the companies are managed.  Our option to counter this is to dive into a business that we have direct control over.

And our business of choice is real estate; we bought some single-family homes and the move going great so far, but it wasn't easy. Finding a market that we know very well was very challenging but the moment that we became familiar with this particular market in a certain area, it was easy to know where to buy and what amount of rent to collect.

We always run our numbers before we proceed with any rental property deal. The good advantage of having a rental property is that your property can appreciate in value and you are also collecting decent monthly cashflow on your properties.

For example, if you are collecting a monthly rent of $2,500.00 and your mortgage with insurance, taxes, principal, and interest included is $1600, your monthly cash flow is $900.00 per month.

If you have about 10 properties, that will be $9,000 per month in cashflow. You can do a lot with that amount of money coming in monthly.

The more of this you have, the more money you can make monthly. But first, you must be sure that you are getting a good price, the house price must make sense, your monthly mortgage must be lower than your rent.

That’s it for today, we will be sharing more tips on how to make money in our next posts. Don’t miss it.
