The Nigerian feds listed two new bonds for interested investors

The Nigerian federal government indicated that it listed two new FGN savings bonds this month, March 2021. 

 

The FGN savings bond was listed on the Nigerian stock exchange on March 24, 2021.

 

List of bonds listed:

  1. FGS202388
  2. FGS202489

Note: Both bonds expire at different times, see dates below. 

 

A 5.18 percent Federal government bond with a 2023 expiration date was issued, A total of 357,419,000 bonds were issued for this particular bond. For interested investors who want to buy these bonds, the bond symbol code is FGS202388. Also, the ISIN number is NGFGS2023888. The bond will mature on March 10, 2023.

 

For the second bond with Symbol Code FGS202489, 504,244 units of bonds were issued by the Nigerian Federal government on March 10, 2021, the ISIN number is  NGFGS2024894, this bond also matures on March 10, 2024, its coupon rate is 6.181%.

 

Coupon Payment Date for both bonds:  10 June, 10 September, 10 December, and 10 March.
