Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg Plan to Fight in a Cage Match

Tesla and Twitter CEO, Elon Musk and Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg have shown a willingness to cage fight in a Vegas Arena. This declaration has garnered reactions from various social media users if the fight would actually take place or if it is a joke from both billionaires. The proposed fight has sent the internet into a frenzy with some cheering for Elon Musk and others reminding Elon that Mark Zuckerberg’s skills as a jiu-jitsu fighter is a plus in winning this fight. Some users have gone ahead to run polls to determine who the winner is likely to be as Zuckerberg is already a combat fighter who has recently won a gold medal at the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament.

The Background Story

Musk and Zuckerberg have always bantered each other and insulted each other’s businesses in past times and some internet users think this proposed cage fight is the best way to end it. Musk has always been known to tweet provocatively. Sometimes this year, he tweeted that Instagram causes depression for its users and he also deleted Tesla’s Facebook account saying it was lame to remain on Facebook. Zuckerberg has also criticized Musk publicly especially over the failure of SpaceX launch.

This whole cage fight fiasco started when Musk responded to a report on Twitter about Mark Zuckerberg’s idea to start a service called Threads which would rival Elon Musk’s Twitter on his Meta Platforms.

Musk tweeted that he was the earth and couldn’t wait to be under Zuck’s thumb and a Twitter user told him to watch his words around Zuckerberg. Musk replied saying he’s up for a cage fight if Zuckerberg is.

Zuckerberg in turn asked Musk to send him a location by posting on his platform, a screenshot of Elon Musk’s tweet.

Musk has picked a location according to Mark’s request; Vegas Octagon.

The Octagon, a competition and fenced-in area used for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is the location of this fight of the year.
