In a recent virtual meeting with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, the CEO of “X,” formally known as Twitter Elon Musk, discussed the plans for the social media platform moving forward.

Musk, who is the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and X Corp., opened up about his plan to introduce a monthly subscription fee for users to enhance their experience on the social media platform. Also, he said that this move was to deter the creation of bots on X.

During the virtual meeting with the Israeli PM, where they both discussed the theoretical dangers affecting artificial intelligence (AI), Musk also talked about how his social media platform stands against hate speech and antisemitism.

Elon Musk's Talk on User Subscription and Plans in Growing X Base

Musk has been working on the issue of deterring bots on the platform, and in a bid to make this possible, he will be introducing a small monthly payment for any user who will be accessing the X system. Bots make the platform harmful and create a poor user experience for users. So addressing this will be a significant benefit for all X users.

However, the exact pricing details are still undergoing review. Musk said that X is experiencing an increase in user activity, with the social media platform getting over 550 million users monthly and generating between 100 and 200 million posts daily.
