Zenith Bank Plc Wins Best Nigerian Bank in the Global Finance Best Banks Awards 2024

Zenith Bank Plc has been ranked Nigeria's best bank in the recent Global Finance Best Banks Awards 2024. The bank has emerged four times since 2019, including the most recent ranking.

Zenith Bank Plc was one of 36 African countries recognised when the esteemed Global Finance revealed the winners of its 31st Annual Best Bank Awards.

The editors of Global Finance made the choices clearly after in-depth discussions with analysts, bankers, and corporate financial executives worldwide.

Among other factors considered in the selection process were the quantitative objective and the informed subjective.

The objective factors included asset growth, profitability, geographic reach, strategic relationships, new business development, and product innovation. The subjective criteria were the opinions of equity analysts, credit rating analysts, banking consultants, and others involved in the industry.

It further merged as the Best in Corporate Governance' Financial Services' Africa for four successive years, from 2020 to 2023, by the Ethical Boardroom; the Most Sustainable Bank, Nigeria, in the International Banker 2023 Banking Awards; and the Best Commercial Bank, Nigeria and Best Innovation in Retail Banking, Nigeria, in the International Banker 2022 Banking Awards.
