In today's stock market, everyone urges you to be cautious. But what precisely does that imply? How do you know what steps you need to take to lower your risk? Investors frequently ask us the following questions: "Can I pause my SIPs now that the market has reached its peak?" "Should I exit the equity market and enter the debt market?" "Could you tell us when the market is going to peak so I can get out?"

Here’s what to do:

Don't put a halt to your SIPs. Treat them as though they were a part of your monthly budget. Unless you are unable to save any longer, you do not cease saving.

On exiting: even in the worst of circumstances, it's never a good idea to sell all of your assets and sit on cash, because you could access the money too soon and miss out on a lifetime's worth of wealth-building opportunities!

When it comes to market forecasting, crystal balls are clouded the majority of the time. Forecasting the weather may be less difficult. As a result, disregard it.
